XMP3 handsfree BROWN I have XMP3 radio for Christmas '08 (much cheaper now, if you're thinking about it, and Sat Radio on the best available!) And I wanted to get the car kit for it too. I only waited a few months for the price to come down and now I have one. If you want to hear your new XMP3 radio in your vehicle you probably want that too! If you have had previous XM car radio kit that includes the same thing (good thing), extra remote, antenna, etc., except this time no cassette adapter, only one stereo stereo adapter cable for direct input, if you have that, in your car. The manual says that if the owners do not have a contribution to your radio or are using a stereo cassette player and has a cassette adapter, you need one of the two FM modulators for XM to listen to him as FM modulator capabilities must be the basis for this kit, not the radio. In fact, I had this car kit for my Gold Wing motorcycle I've had my SKYFi2 set up on it and it was just exchange it for the database and change the power adapter for 5 XMP3 Volt. I have the FM modulator line on the bike and it works all great. To be honest, if the display is SKYFi2 easier to read in direct sunlight, and it's a bigger screen. Ridenour This kit contains everything needed to connect your XMP3 player to the car if you have an "Aux" input. The cable connecting the cradle to my "Aux" input did not work. I must have another. By comparing one with another kit I had, it seems that the card was a little bit more than it should be. This helped move the connections past there CREDITS spots into the jack. Krohn My biggest problem with this car kit is what none of the descriptions tell you. You can't use the FM Modulator without an FM Direct kit or similar adapter. The modulator is too weak to reach you car radio reliably without it. If you're like me, and looking for a way to listen to your XMp3 through your car radio, buy the FM direct kit also.
