Amazon.com Product Description If you're serious about keeping your music with you at all times, the Sirius S50 Satellite Radio Receiver and MP3/WMA Player System Pack may be just what you're looking for. Small enough for your shirt pocket, and loaded with all the accessories you need to play it over your car stereo, the Sirius S50 offers an intoxicating blend of satellite radio and digital music capabilities that are certain to transform your portable listening experience. Use the optional home dock to route Sirius radio to your home stereo. View larger. Load up tunes from your computer via bundled software. View larger. Your satellite programming. Your MP3/WMA digital music files. Take them all on the go with the S50. For starters, when the Sirius S50 is set up in your car, or in the optional home docking station (sold separately), it's ready to capture more than 120 channels of Sirius satellite radio programming. But don't feel intimidated by the scale of all that programming; the Sirius S50 has several automatic and one-touch features that will help you get the most out of your satellite-radio experience in no time flat. Game alerts automatically prompt you when your favorite teams are playing, and a sports ticker gives you up-to-the-minute scores throughout the day. The unit's 30 channel presets offer one-touch navigation to your favorite Sirius stations as well as to Sirius traffic and weather reports. The Sirius S50 also boasts an internal memory that can store up to 50 hours of digital content, either from your favorite satellite programming. With a simple push of the unit's easy-to-spot heart-shaped "love" button, you can save the Sirius program you're listening to for future playback. So when it's time to work out, or when the beach is calling, just slip on the earphones and enjoy the commercial-free programming and music files of your choice. (A belt clip for the player is included in the kit.) Note that while live satellite radio content is available when you're in your car or at home--using either the included car cradle or the optional home cradle--it is not available when the S50 is in portable mode. You'll also get the accessories you'll need to play the Sirius S50 over your car stereo -- a cradle that allows the unit to receive live Sirius broadcasts, a car mount, a DC power adapter, a remote control, and a roof-mount antenna. The car cradle's media dial makes it super easy for you to surf through 120 channels of Sirius programming, and a voice-assisted navigation announces the name of the channel you've just tuned into, so you can find your favorite channels without taking your eyes off the road. The unit's built-in wireless FM transmitter "broadcasts" the sound over an unused frequency on any FM stereo, so there's no complicated installation process. And if your in-dash stereo has an auxiliary input, you can connect the Sirius S50 directly to it for even better sound. The unit's bright 176 x 220 TFT color display makes it easy to read programming data and sports scores. And at a mere 1.9 x .9 x 3.9 inches (WxHxD), and with rechargeable batteries that will give you six hours of play per charge, the Sirius S50 is ready to go wherever you take it. Note: Sirius Satellite radio programs require a subscription that's sold separately. What's in the Box S50 satellite radio, AC adapter, cigarette lighter power adapter, car antenna, car mount, earbuds, remote control, USB cable, belt clip, and PC software.

I finally found one and had professionally installed in my car. I like that the S50 can do, and I am very pleased overall, but I have some problems with the S50. First the good things. This is a great design with impressive LCD. The station, artist and song are still visible. None of the things scrolling. The base has a rotating information to change channels, press replay songs to play a song you want and take up a lot of other options. Very cool. The removable disk light is about as large as 2 / 3 of a card game. With this device you can remove it from your car, plug the headphones and play your downloaded MP3 and recorded Sirius content. The battery should last about six hours. I have not emptied. Automatic charging when docked in the base unit also automatically download music from the three most listened to stations ... brilliant. Also, if you like a song you're listening to, simply press the knob, and the song was recorded on the laptop running for you ... awesome! Also, if you like a song you just heard, you can click a button and play again. You can then go directly to the game or continue to hear the current track. You can also pause and resume the transfer without problems. As you dial to change channels, a voice tells you which channel is selected, which is a cool feature if you want to continue watching the road. I love the music selection that is available for my taste (or thing). Some stations are lame, all Elvis channel or all channels Bruce Springsteen Tine for example, but it is a matter of taste. Additionally, there are plenty to choose from, whatever your taste in music. And now the bad things. 1) I was disappointed with the sound quality I would describe as somewhere between good-quality FM and AM radio. Voices often sound like they speak or sing into a can. I thought it might have been FM transmitter in the device, but when I play MP3 in the car through the system, they sound good, so I think it is not enough bandwidth in the broadcasts. 2) The portable device does not have an equalizer setting. You can not adjust bass or treble, which have even the cheapest MP3 player. It was a bad oversight on their part. 3) My biggest problem is that the removable device sometimes vibrate loose, causing a loss in transmission. This is very annoying, but I'm used to open up to my unit from time to time to prevent it. I think it's part of the problem that my unit was installed so that it lies in a flat position. Maybe I need to get it changed, despite the fact that I, as it is currently placed in love. Sirius should, however, that the unit locks are designed, if you lose the signal (not the unit coming loose), the voice prompt to switch to the downloaded content, which can easily be done. UPDATE: I had the device installed, so not flat, there is no problem now with it slipping off. I am also very happy with the S50. If you are aware of the issue of sound quality, I would certainly recommend the unit. 23 of 24 people found the following review helpful. Great idea, very poor execution. Anthony first let me say that I now see the S50 as a prototype. I think they rushed to market the product is not available at the time that Stern started broadcasting have. The fact that none of the accessories (including the home dock) are still available shows that this product was rushed. The bugs and missing features, even in a quickie release. Wait a few months and you will probably lose significant, greater reliability and additional resources.

This item is a piece of junk from Omar Duran I bought this unit recently, thinking it might be a good opportunity to get a great radio in my car and it showed a total disappointment. The first unit has a blue line in the middle of the screen in one day to install it on my Mazda. I made a complaint to Amazon and they sent me another unit, I was very pleased to have received and thought I could finally enjoy a good music after a long time, but to my surprise when I listened to MP3 files USB Memory of the screen started flashing and was empty, but you could hear the music but the screen did not work. Immediately turn the radio off and on again seconds later to see if they had already passed the "Vertigo", which gave him during MP3 playback. Then I put a video DVD, when I enjoy a good show in my new radio is the "Vertigo" is back with more force and this time he has the DVD menu was released and the radio mode, I have many comments on the management functions of this radio: 1 The controls are difficult to understand and not long on the screen program, such as Low, Trebble, etc.. 2nd The sensitivity of the touch screen is very bad. 3rd The sound controls are very simple. In general, the quality of this team very doubtful, because it's not a good software to it.Boss BV9555 7-inch double-DIN in-dash administration motorized TFT Wide Screen Receiver Combo Monitor/DVD/MP3/CD I am satisfied customer from Amazon, but not with this boss. 14 of 15 customers found this review helpful. You can buy from W. Spates This unit is garbage. This unit has worked very well for about three weeks, until I got the song with my touch screen and tried to change the screen black. The audio continued to play, but I could see the old adage "you get what you pay for" is so true. I knew that buying a brand of inferior quality, as "Boss" would be a gamble. The odds are not in my favor. We hope that others will have better luck. I sent the head bad Amazon and got a full refund. Thank God, broke out before the deadline for repayment. I recently ordered a Pioneer unit to replace it. 6 of 6 people found this review helpful. This product SUCKS! From Kisha I received this product in a timely manner. However, I took it to Best Buy to be installed and wahlaa ... no sound! The Technites said it was a defective product and that boss is a trademark and if it was horrible, would not buy anything. Keep in mind these are the words of a professional ... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ... I Is a waste of your time and money !!!!!! I've recently moved from DirecTV after being a DirecTV subscriber since the mid-90s. When told it would go almost six weeks for an individual service and DirecTV to replace my apartment, I saw in Dish Network, liked what I saw and turned on. You may have someone on the next day. The award was received much less for more programming from DirecTV I. HD content is nice. Her husband was laborious and professional installation and customer service people were very good. The DVR only they had the VIP722. I have DirecTV with TiVo. Long and short of it died, my first VIP722 after about 3 weeks. I went through the disconnect, connect the routine a few times. I've tried it directly into the wall outlet instead of surge protector or battery backup. Noting that seemed to help credit Dish, they were quick to replace it with 2 days shipping replacement. Now I have attached the replacement for almost a week, and now I get strange video / audio sync problems, random reboots, crashes, fast forward, followed by the trunk freezer. In other words. Reliability annoying / problems with the quality I thought my first unit may have had a problem with this so cool, I made sure there was extra ventilation and placed an external USB-powered fan on the back / left side to pull out of the heat. Off topic, but I bought it along with an external fan to my Onkyo 806 to solve a problem with this heat. If you have an Onkyo, which gets very hot, the fan did the trick. Back to ViP722: If it is a total failure as the first, give it a chance with a third party. If not, I will cancel my membership and return to the DirecTV satellite dish or cable. FiOS is not available in my area, unfortunately. The VIP is not in the same league Tivo in many ways, the quality and reliability are only two pieces, and despite a fairly intuitive interface and a lack of 'work' records TIVO, I ready to change. Boy, I miss my TiVo. Dish really needs to get out. Subscriptions lost a loser of a DVR / receiver would be a shame because in every other dish is a great service. UPDATE 05/08/2009: I'm on my third 722, but it works perfectly. No problems syncing videos, video stuttering, freezing or restarting constantly. The only thing I did differently was to not connect to the Internet. This is wild speculation, but I feel like the lack of reliability that I have lived with the other two were related to software updates via Ethernet connection. Now I have one that works reliably, I would give a 4 star review from Amazon if the system has a rating change. TiVo is still the reference, but once you get used to the 722 interface, everything works great on June 6 found this review helpful. Former Tivo / Cox users, switch to the dish. By A. Wiley made the switch to use Tivo with Cox Communications and satellite services a month ago and now I have been very pleased. Dish and DirecTV have solid choice at the time, I suggest to people to research on their websites. In short, it was cheaper for me to switch to satellite service if I wanted HD and DVR services in the long term, Cox and TiVo. In the case of DVR, I love it so far. 60 hours of HD recording and SD of 200 +. I have 10 HD movies on it and I'm still just past using half its available space. DVR can connect up to two separate TVs (one HD, the other must be SD). I suggest that you plan to have the TV close to each other if you do not want to run a bunch of cables through the house. Both TVs, the various recordings stored on the DVR at the same time, great for families also access the DVR can record two.

Goltsch The boss (wife), the stock 6 CD changer in its 2006 Explorer XLT. She wanted a new radio that allows them to listen to her iPod and Bluetooth phone for her to have. I also wanted to add GPS, because if I replace the darn thing, I might as well give her all the functions they might need for the future. I searched online for a new head unit, but it seemed that all units were above the $ 500 range. I saw that Amazon had the Pioneer AVIC-U310BT on sale for $ 259.00. I did some research and found a mixed bag of reviews for every good review, there was not so good. After some thought, I decided to bite. I'm glad I did. I bought the head unit with the PAC-08 Can Bus module05 FORD CAN BUS RADIO MODULE INTERFACEand the Scosche Scosche ISO Double DIN FD1426B Kit for 2004-Up Ford Mounting Kit. The harness was about $ 80 and the mounting another $ 15 If you look at a lot of head units out there that offer Bluetooth as an option, it is not clear that with this radio. It would add another $ 100 for many of the competitors out there. I opened all the parts I bought and read all the documentation on all points, before I went out. The Pac-wired module that connects all cables to the wiring to the radio. This made it easy when I went out to the truck. Plug and play wiring only need to do was routing all the cables to the microphone, GPS antenna and aux output cable for Sirius radio. Information that Sirius, Pioneer offers integrated module for Sirius XM o. Both cost $ 100 and you should find a place and get Sirius modules under the dashboard. They can not offer some of the features of Plug and Play Sirius offers small units, pause, FF, and the favorite song or artist alerts. We decided to maintain its current Sportster 5 plug into the port to get everything installed in about 90 minutes. I put the GPS antenna under the top plate of the instrument panel. The antenna can see through the plastic tray and remains hidden. The iPod is only the USB cable that came with your iPod. You can buy the cable from Pioneer for about $ 40. I do not see the need, as the cable works very well with Apple. I put the iPod in the glove compartment, as there is no need to access all controls are accessible from the source. The sound of the radio is great. GPS navigation seems to be good, but I can tell you more, how to use it in real-world driving. Some people said they had problems with bluetooth does not connect automatically. I started the truck and died at about 20 times so far and each time it detects and connects to my iPhone .... no problem. The included microphone sound quality seems good so far. Again, let's see what happens in real driving conditions in the global world is not as clean as $ 500 - $ $ 1000 head units out there, the screen is so large, and may not have all the features of its higher price cousins. But to have GPS, CD, iPod and Bluetooth for a total of about $ 350, can not be beat. Edit 27/04/10 After a week of use: I wanted to add some articles about the use of this system. First, some complained about the quality of the microphone that came with your device. For us it works great. I have been involved in both ends of the phone call that both the sender of the truck, or a recipient of a call from the truck. Both come in loud and clear. Maybe other people had problems with the placement of the microphone? It cuts right into the driver's visor. The sound quality is fantastic. This device really takes advantage of the factory subwoofer in Windows Explorer. We have not heard that, under such powerful unit in action. Control iPod takes a little getting used to, but then you realize that works well my wife has just put the iPod on random control of the main unit. It's like a.

Overvalued Yahama it through the image Comm As I write this review, I am to my favorite music DVD (Eagles, Hell freezes over) hear, and I have the volume up to 70% depending on the listening volume of the Yamaha HTR-5790 (50 vol%) that replaces the RX-A1000. The 5790 has 110 watts vs. 105 watts per channel for the RX-A1000. It was time to replace my 5790, because I recently bought a Samsung LCD TV 8000-series, and I wanted a 1080p signal from my DVD player to the TV through the receiver from Yamaha. The 5790 had no HDMI port and you can not pass a 1080p signal via component cables. The old Yamaha was able to process Dolby True HD either. One of the most interesting features of the new receiver is the ability to transmit video and audio to the TV via the HDMI cable, even if the receiver is turned off. How cool is that? We do not always have 735 watts, especially when we are alone, just a news channel. Another interesting feature is the NET Radio RX-1000 I have connected the LAN port on my router (via a gigabit switch) and 24 hours later (I could not get it to work right away), I listen to 15,000 radio stations. It took 24 hours to understand that the receiver was connected to a computer network? Not sure why it did not work right away. I checked all my settings again and again and then it was off when my patience began to wear a little 'thin. The next day when I turned on the radio was working on NET. This unit is about $ 200 a step from my old receiver, but in my opinion does not correspond to the sound of my older Yamaha units. Damn, had 5 watts to make a difference? Yamaha spent 2 years of design and construction of the series Aventage from the frame up. This was not a reform, (to build and improve on an existing chassis) is a brand new project, the number of feet (5) on the bottom. Well all in all I have this device, but if I had to do more, I would have waited one month and bought the RX-RX-A2000 The A2000 features video processing and upscaling the picture quality of all you is jacking it would improve, but also 130 watts per channel. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Awesome! By Lasse Moen I bought this receiver on the market and Amazon links to my Klipsch Reference Series speakers ended with the Centre, Left + Right, 2 Speakers Presence, surround speakers (L + R + Back) and a subwoofer 15 ". I upgrated from an old Yamaha 5.1 receiver and added speakers front L + R. The sound is simply fantastic. I also have the iPod dock that works absolutely great with the iPod Touch purchase. But it does not work with the iPhone 4. I am always Panasonic Viera TV a few weeks and 3D with the Panasonic DVD player, I do not think it will go to the movies so often. This receiver is a great product and is built to last on-screen menu is easy to understand and very quickly to change the audio programs, etc., found 4 out of 4 people following review helpful. Excellent by C. Avery, I have not had one since my Denon receiver was stolen old ... But I am with the RX-A1000 with two Klipsch WF-35 parishioners floor, surround 2 x Klipsch WB14 Library, WC24 Klipsch center and 2x Klipsch WS24 7.1 and experience tells me that it also Tage is awesome! The sound is so clean. The features are robust. Can you say CONTROL online through the browser on the laptop and streaming FLAC? Completely lossless audio playback is so nice and the sound is incredible. Yamaha overhyped not this was overcome and high fidelity is noted in my opinion. Orgasmic sounds. I recommend it! I've never had the need to make the positive DBS generally remain at-17dB and-6dB when I really Jammin. Super strong in this series W. Klipsch

The whole time, I installed two external HD Radio tuner in my car. Visteon HD Jump, the first was directly connected to my AUX in line with a unit of JVC KD-SX75 heads. When I sold the car that I bought and had installed the JVC KT-HDP1 in my new car, connected to the radio in the car with an FM transmitter. After using them I wanted to get a device with a built-in HD Radio tuner, and an input for MP3 players. I wish I had found this product much earlier than I did. This unit is ready for what I have now, and for loans and iPod control, XM and / or Sirius satellite radio, Bluetooth and a JVC CD changer through the head unit out of the box, if you were to these products purchased separately . HD Radio is a great feature on this. In addition to AM and FM signals sound better because of HD Radio, most stations display the track titles and artists of the songs (which helped me find several songs to buy) Some stations also broadcast "sub-channels" additional content. One problem here is that when there is a sub-channel is available, there is no sign of it. The only way to know is what you need to press the up or down on the dial. CD-ROM drive can read MP3/WMA CDs (if they are not protected music files), which allows you to put about 12 CDs on 1 CD. A complaint of mine is that you can not browse folders on the CD, from one folder to another plays the first song in the folder. I must say that the factory stereo in my new car spoiled me on this. AUX input on the front page was a great addition to this product. I have my MP3 player connected to it and it sounds good! I brought this into Circuit City and had them installed and I am very satisfied with their installation. I do not feel comfortable getting in the car to do it alone on July 7 people found the following review helpful. Great! By Zachary Stansfield This is a great receiver. Hands down. I had no problems with it. The HD is cut from time to time, but that's because I live in an area that has many hills and trees. However, its nothing to worry about. Do not buy the JVC ipod. Just buy the chord of 3.5 attendants and connect it to your iPod, or if you do not mind the wire, not me. And a man called a star is an idiot. Probably broke. Great price. I'm happy. I'm buying one for my father because he is a great player. If you live in the Seattle area his theft, because there are so many HD stations, including some AM. All the features and quality without the price Made by Gene Bates bought this car because I have always trusted the quality of the JVC and I bought the iPod adapter, which ran to the glove This is a great device, easy to install, good sound and radio reception, easy to use. You can run your iPod to the front jack or buy the adapter that I did. The adapter charges your iPod, but control is transferred to the device. Once you figure out how to navigate your iPod in the face of the unit is very easy to use. Before the remote control works to control the iPod. This is the best value with built-in HD tuner input and the ability to connect an iPod adapter or a blue tooth adapter. I love it. See all 22 reviews ....

Wilcomb Overall, this receiver is a good value for money, but do not assume anything. Many of the features you would expect from an A / V receiver is patched in this unit. For example - the HDMI only supports pass-through, meaning that they passed the signal to your TV or projector, but if you want 5.1 sound through your speakers, you connect the audio to the receiver separately. The recipient will not pull the audio signal from the HDMI feed, even if the cable carries. Similarly, if you connect analog (component or RCA) to the receiver, the receiver will not send them via the HDMI output. You need an analog output from running the receiver to TV or projector to transport the signal from these sources. I'm still happy with this unit, which is not as perfect as a solution you'd expect from a home theater system and many of the features I took for granted when I saw all inputs turned out to be false assumptions 19 of 21 people found the following review helpful. This Sony receiver is a good one! By Larry Xie, CA, USA I am quite happy with this receiver. But I have some minor complaints. It was not clear to me (not specifically mentioned in the menu) you can not use the video "out" to increase the video input on the TV and I discovered that I had to use the screen to connect to my LCD TV. So I took some time to play with him. It is a pity that my DVD just happens to have an optical digital audio output, while digital sound on DVD in the Sony unit can only accommodate standard RCA inputs on the digital. Otherwise it works pretty well overall. 23 of 27 people found this review helpful. Not all the works of Jacob A. McFarland I bought this product and received quickly from Amazon when I first plugged it in, I found that it would not go through the HDMI input of my Philips DVD player or pass through RCA video. I spoke with Sony customer support for two hours and they said it was defective. So Amazon sent me another one that came quickly. This will pass through RCA video, but still not pass through HDMI for my DVD player. I'm sure that Sony is trying to give you a Sony DVD player to buy. Good Stuff - Cheap - Everything else works fine bad things - HDMI not working - sound quality is not as well - connections on the back are not well organized all 56 reviews ....

This DVR has two modes. In single mode, the same video on two TVs simultaneously is shown. Use this option if you do not look at one of the sets at once, or if you are not connected via a TV2, TV2 or if the person wants to see just watch what the other person. You can use picture-in-picture in this mode, and do what you want as far as the use of tuners to record. In each dual-mode TV can function independently, and each has a single TV tuner available. If you program a recording, you can choose which files he tuner (if your TV or. Or choose to watch it on television, where * you * will not just live a little differently live). In this mode, you can also view two separate programs recorded on two TVs, one or two channels are living separately, or a combination of a recorded show and a live channel, there are three ways to schedule recurring recordings: Pass the plate, regular Programming and Manual. The most important thing is to know that there is a limit to how many recordings can be programmed (300 if I remember correctly) to look at when you read this. Pass plate search titles and descriptions of what you specify, and record every time he sees a match on any channel. Regular schedule works a little differently, and is probably more appropriate for most needs. Regular programming you can record a particular title, regardless of any channel, or a specific channel: each episode - Disco time showing new episodes - episodes only items that are not repetitions per week, Monday to Friday, days, etc. - to record any interval you say about the only show. This is the best for most shows that come on several times a day, for example, if you do not want the program recorded in a particular time, rather than all of them (for example, I do not want my replies Seinfeld has registered 17 hours, no less) 10 or 24:30. And the manual recording - You can set a program (or one of the two repeated weekly or daily on weekdays, or, etc. ..) and thus there will be all that is at this time, instead of recording only if a particular show active. ***** VERY IMPORTANT ***** If you record shows from all the time, it is very important to use "all episodes" for those! For example, about 50-60 episodes of Seinfeld in the next 14 days or more and it takes 50-60 slot of up to 300 I mentioned above! You'll find yourself being told you have one too many online records or something, and will not be able to add numerous recordings. Rather than recording a program like that once or twice a day (use two separate timers, if necessary, there is no limit that I know the number of timers) so that you will like 10-15 coming Much better. The good thing about this DVR: * Can not record programs. I have never missed a scheduled recording the whole year (although I did once lose all my recordings when I had a hard drive crash - replaced my Dish DVR for about five days or thereabouts). * Robust options and settings. Digging deep into the menu and set things up however you like. * Mortgage allows you to decide which shows are not to be missed (the records only once, on first viewing programs) than shows not indifferent, but only records in case of need something to see (for example , syndicated shows, etc.). * Very fast and responsive * DVR $ 5.99 monthly fee - less than TiVo ($ 13) or what it costs Comcast ($ 10) for their Junky stuff. * Button-skip-forward 30 seconds - it must NOT be like some other hack to activate the DVR (* cough * Comcast!). Nice. * 2-TV support in a box, as described above means that you can access the same library of recordings of both have TV Sweet. * Large 100-hour capacity. * Smart enough not to have an episode you record a program. * You can select "Edit" in batch mode - so you can.

A Better Way to Control Your Music Sick of using buttons to search through your songs? Now you can scroll through your music with greater ease using the 7-way rotary commander. Bring Your Music to Life with Advanced Sound Retriever This year you can hear the detail, warmth, and clarity the way the artist intended it, from all of the highly compressed MP3, WMA and AAC files playing on your CD player. By restoring data that tends to get lost in the digital compression process, we can make your music sound close to CD quality. Supertuner IIID AM/FM Tuner Pioneer's legendary Supertuner IIID combines the best of digital and analog tuner technologies to reduce distortion to bring you exceptional FM and AM performance. If you live in an area where reception is weak, you'll hear a big improvement in signal strength. And when you're near tall buildings, Supertuner IIID reduces the effect of multi-path noise, which occurs when the signal is reflecting off of the buildings. MOSFET 50W x4 Amplifier for the Power Hungry Compared to conventional power supplies, the MOSFET amplification circuit is smaller and more efficient, delivering power with less distortion and absolutely zero on/off switching noise. And that doesn't just mean a boost in volume: it means that your music will be cleaner at higher volumes because you're not pushing the limits of the amplification circuit. Clean, efficient power that will rock your vehicle. Inevitably, there will be those who still need more. The DEH-3200UB is therefore equipped with two sets of 2.2V preamp outputs (front, rear/subwoofer) for system expansion with external amps/speakers. Easy to install, easy navigation, excellent sound, great flexibility by Nathan Andersen for my '99 Toyota Camry, I was still in the original factory installed cassette / FM / AM receiver. I am preparing for some time to spend on something that could play CDs and MP3, with USB and auxiliary input. This does the trick. It delivers great sound even with my original speakers. I never thought I could get that kind of big sound and clear in the age pregnancy. I know it can be set with an amplifier and subwoofer, but the configuration I have now is exactly what I need to play songs that keep alive my lap. Automatically recognizes when I plug my iPod or iPhone and immediately goes into input mode, the same for when I pop in a CD and start playing immediately. Obviously, I can state back to what I wanted and leave the CD or iPod on standby I do not really need another extra audio connectors, so have not tried. A good feature is that you can connect your iPod directly from the stereo controls - with joystick-like volume and master controller button. It is mostly intuitive, but I found I had to read the manual to find out exactly how it works. The fact that the main control knob controls almost everything, it means that there are some getting used to before the operation of the receiver feels as intuitive as my old one. The remote that comes with it is a bit more intuitive and works mostly as all the old CD / iPod Player remote control. You can do almost anything to play with this, be it via the iPod or whatever burned to a CD: MP3, WMA and AAC files. There is also a feature "Sound Retriever" function, which seems a little "larger" type of sound when playing compressed audio formats such as MP3 files. I was streaming Pandora on my iPhone while driving, and the sound was not as clear as standard audio files, but "Sound Retriever" job seemed obvious that a bit of a more obvious difference when I mp3 files I have burnt to a CD to play. The sound of everything seems better than before - probably because of the new 50W amp to each speaker - resulting in cleaner sound at high volume than I could manage my original receiver. Of course you can by radio, and you can store up to six radios per band (you can switch between three "different" FM bands - that is, with three different sets of favorite FM stations to create - and an AM band). You can easily switch between these presets, or by pressing up or down the volume knob, or the number on the preset. If you are on the road, you can use the following six "best quality" of the local stations and put them in the settings automatically. The "Super Tuner IIID" actually works as promised - which includes more stations clearly, and also clean the sound of some of my old favorites that sounds better than ever took a while to install. First I took a harness adapter for my Camry - which was easy for me to find in my local auto parts store. The harness is easy to install and connect to my system and I have to work right away. It was fitting that it was a bit tricky, because it is a bit wider than my music, assembly, and is not adjusted when I had my factory mounts of existence. I could get it to work after a little tweaking, but I thought it worth mentioning that this may be too large to fit in some older vehicles. It only works with devices that have integrated circuits, iPod, and these devices are more or less identical to the units under them are beyond the control of the iPod. Why get a unit that requires this cable if you are not the functionality of your iPod? Exactly. In any case, the cable itself from a beautiful, high quality rubber and is easily connected to the connector on the back of your car radio. It should be noted, however, allow that, as with other Pioneer iPod connectivity, the control navigates through the head unit, the iPod is locked, if it is connected. I was hoping it was not the case with this cable and our DEH-P4900IB, but it was ... So only 4 stars. Otherwise it's great. By Julio Cesar Giraldo This interface cable fully compatible with the iPod, but not so well with the iPhone ... In fact, nothing at all. When iPhone is connected, the phone will not load and will fail on the screen of your head unit. Then the phone prompts you to switch to airplane mode and then play only the latest album from the library without the ability to control the music. Upsample not and can not send, such as the video source is part of the TV HDMI input. Yamaha support (to get back to me quickly, I must admit), said "it makes the conversion of video sources, you would need to run the video component [component input] TV as well." HTR 3063BL 500 Watt 5.1 Channel Receiver (All Black) from Amazon.com. I love the receiver, it has a great sound and more features than I will ever use. What I like most is that it was very easy to install. As I get older (48 years) I always have trouble keeping up with what's new in electronics. HDMI connector makes it easy to convert your DVD / Blu-Ray player to your TV and it just makes the optical cable to your TV to the receiver to connect to all your TV programs in stereo. In examining the comparable units, had my local Best Buy the same Yamaha receiver in stock and for sale at a price of $ 329.00, one hundred U.S. dollars more than I paid for it online. They had a 500 watt receiver without AM / FM for $ 229.00. Once again, the device is wonderful - and the price was right! The only thing I disliked about my purchase was the online manual - it was not as user friendly as an old-fashioned paper manual. I want to see Yamaha CD manually get rid of and replace it with a real paper manual (booklet). The other problem I had with this product was how it was delivered to my house Amazon sent FedEx. To my dismay, FedEx dropped off my package to my door step, out side my house. I was very angry about this and Fedex was indifferent to my concerns and I was not able to reach Amazon for comment. If it had rained - the equipment has been damaged, even someone who can walk to my door and took the group outside my door and I never knew that was delivered. Due to the lack of concern for FedEx, and the ability of Amazon.com to get rid of customer complaints - I do not intend to make another purchase of this size and cost again through Amazon. Both Fedex and Amazon seems to fold the shipping order. Shame on Amazon and FedEx for their lack of customer service !!!!!! Larry Volk .... Read 8 reviews

This works perfectly for me with my ASUS dual-band router, no problems and could not ask for better performance. I would like the little stand that came with the previous model for expanded use with a desktop computer, but otherwise I'm completely satisfied. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Most helpful customer reviews 18 of 18 people found the following review helpful. Excellent entry-level receivers TA Clark, I wanted something that would handle my game plan too good for movies and television, and are easy enough to use my wife and kids can enjoy without feeling intimidated. I wanted a receiver that would be easy to maintain and manage the calls, and this really fit the bill perfectly. Setup was incredibly easy. For the 360 and PS3 all I had to do was just HDMI cables to the inputs of the receiver, and then another HDMI cable to the TV-out, and it was ... everything was ready to go for the connections. The display is clear and easy to understand, and the speaker configuration as it is easy to set up and managed in a way that makes it a breeze to suit your needs. If you just want to start, not a fancy setup, AV, and want something that sounds good and is future proof for a reasonable price, I could not find a better way to proceed with this receiver I have just set up with only 2 Library speakers before because of my living arrangement, and still sounds amazing even at low volume. It has a lot of battles and dialogue is crystal clear when you watch movies and TV, much better than I had before. I'm really, really happy with him. A fan might want to look at the higher end models, but for someone just trying to start a better home theater this is a great way to go. 7 of 7 people found this review helpful. Good starting ... D. Corleone I bought this to replace my Denon AVR-1910th I knew I would step down in quality and performance, but I seem to like it better than my Denon receiver! Yes, it is an entry-level receiver but it is fantastic for all those in HT for the first time step instructions are confusing, but I think I was just contemplating a few things because I was using by Denon. The show is great for the price. I went from a 6.1 setup on a 3.1 receiver and play my Blu-ray better than I expected. Music sounds great too. I do not care CinemaDSP with one of the things I play everything on the "Straight" mode, and all sounds should be. Advice to beginners get HT, great sounding speaker first focus, then to the receiver. It's great if you spend most of your budget on HT speakers (like me). Hadeishi I needed to use an entry-level AV receiver home theater, while I was visiting another city for several months for the work I have an Onkyo high-end device that I use for the home theater. I had not expected it, given its extremely low prices, but I was pleasantly surprised both by the multitude of functions and settings, and sound quality. It has four HDMI inputs, is very easy to use, are optical and coaxial digital audio, and even Bluetooth connectivity, and optional iPod / iPhone dock. There is a wide range of DSP settings. In fact, I had this as part of the set of Yamaha home theater --- again, not expecting much given the low price, but the sound quality is very impressive for the money. Mids and clear highs, these speakers are cheap --- for the bass drone and a bit muddy, but you can not have everything at this price. You can be more expensive speakers, of course, to this unit and you will get even better results. I have to hand it to Yamaha for making a solid entry-level device See all 14 reviews ....
