Enjoy hours of your favorite tunes MP3, WMA, and AAC audio content. You can also just throw some files on a USB thumb drive and insert it directly in the front panel USB input. iPod Made Easy It's easy! Connect, Tag, and Download Have you ever heard a great song on the radio, but couldn't remember what it was called or who sang it when you went to go look for it later? Now you don't have to worry about missing out on great music. iTunes Tagging gives you the power to "tag" all of your favorite songs without having to scramble for a piece of scrap paper in the car, then later preview or purchase music at iTunes Music Store. A Better Way to Control Your Music Sick of using buttons to search through your songs? Now you can scroll through your music with greater ease using the 7-way rotary commander. Bring Your Music to Life with Advanced Sound Retriever This year you can hear the detail, warmth, and clarity the way the artist intended it, from all of the highly compressed MP3, WMA and AAC files playing on your CD player. By restoring data that tends to get lost in the digital compression process, we can make your music sound close to CD quality. Supertuner IIID AM/FM Tuner Pioneer's legendary Supertuner IIID combines the best of digital and analog tuner technologies to reduce distortion to bring you exceptional FM and AM performance. If you live in an area where reception is weak, you'll hear a big improvement in signal strength. And when you're near tall buildings, Supertuner IIID reduces the effect of multi-path noise, which occurs when the signal is reflecting off of the buildings. MOSFET 50W x4 Amplifier for the Power Hungry Compared to conventional power supplies, the MOSFET amplification circuit is smaller and more efficient, delivering power with less distortion and absolutely zero on/off switching noise. And that doesn't just mean a boost in volume: it means that your music will be cleaner at higher volumes because you're not pushing the limits of the amplification circuit. Clean, efficient power that will rock your vehicle. The DEH-7200HD is also well-equipped for those who want to expand their system, with three sets of 4V RCA preamp outputs (front/rear/subwoofer) for system expansion with external amps/speakers, and a two-way crossover with separate high and low pass settings. Get Plugged In Use the built-in AUX input for connecting any digital portable player and other external auxiliary devices. For extra-convenient access, the input is on the front panel. Dial In Your Sound Tweak the sound to your liking with the on-board three-band graphic EQ. The installation took about an hour extra, direct factory HU. Fairly simple once you get the original HU. I had my P7200HD for about a month. HD signal reception is great, and I have had no probs breakage / loss of signal. During the 3-line display is nice for song info, etc. I use the USB cable iPod {2.0} Controls are large and iPod can be controlled by HU or the iPod, which is nice for passengers. Audio Control offers several options to customize your personal taste. I was able to develop, where the factory speakers sound damn good. {Still in the process of updating them.} I have not tested the CD / XM / Bluetooth capability yet, but I am convinced that he will perform as well as the rest of the system. On a scale of 1-10 I give a P7200HD 9.5. The only improvement I would have had a special iPod connector from the back of the unit I would recommend P7200HD? You bet! 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Great sound, great value. Hate buttons. Michael K. O'Connor, I love this head unit and I would buy it again, what I want in a head-unit for all the reasons you can read the description and other reviews, but be warned, it has a great critic in my opinion. The multi-knob, which is basically a volume control on steroids and can not only rotate, but can tilt up down left and right, and clicked in the middle, sometimes a pain to use while driving. I can not count how many times I've tried clicking on the center you have activated in the main menu so it could fit me well some met sound just randomly click on a directional (send me a rule, not only singing, but also the root directory) instead, because the road vibrations. It's a little hard to consistantly hit the middle click when you drive your car rides and look down, make sure the center and then hope that the next brick that you drive past you can not jerk off his little goal. I much prefer a setting of multiple buttons. Moreover, even if you hit the right click sometimes it will go over a bumpy road you can click with much more power than you want, and I'm constantly afraid of breaking the button just my stereo. I know I spend most of the fine tuning done, I try to use the remote to operate it when possible, but I still have the menu from time to time, when I drive and is a pita to see if I can not stop . I drive a Subaru Legacy wagon than a truck for my ride is not as hard roads, but could be better. Why do we need a multifunction button on a hand-held non-platform. Multi-buttons are great for hand-held, which suck for a moving target. 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Better coverage with more options for the price of S McDonough This is a large terrace with 3 sets of 4 volt preamp outputs, a built in HD radio tuner, USB and iPod capability. Large terrace of functionality. The only two things I would have liked to see is a fold in the face to cover the dc input slot and a second USB port on the back of the unit to a USB connection hidden somewhere in your vehicle. But beggars can not pick and find through extensive comparison of this product has more features I was looking for the best price. Thanks to Amazon for the lowest price and super saver shipping.
