The reception of AM and FM radio is good, both in city and highway. Music from the SD card is the easiest way to use the "mechanism" device. Note that the unit is limited to 16 GB, not a real limitation to the SD card, but I have an older generation iPod which is 20 GB and can not be played via the USB port. However, I can use the auxiliary port to the iPod without problems. The amplifier is very powerful, but makes a good sound in my 1988 VW Vanagon, which has a large interior space. I have to turn the volume almost all the way, if you want to play loudly. However, there are points of sale of the unit to connect an external amplifier. Hey, what can you expect for $ 40. However, I am very pleased and I think you have a lot of basic features at a cheap price. Let's see how long-term sustainability is a couple of years, but I guess since everything is electronically (hence the term mechanism less), it is not much that can go wrong, based on wear, I would recommend this unit as a strong value and a candidate to replace / update the unity of action in his car. 45 of 47 people found this review helpful. Full of surprises! For double Twidget Mechless XR4110 digital media receiver was not sure what to expect after reading the different views in the comments above, but I thought it was worth $ 40 to take a chance. PROS: - better than expected, AM / FM tuner with 18 FM presets and 00:00. The range is better than the stereo in our Chrysler Town & County. No loss of memory with this unit. - All three digital inputs worked on the first attempt and the noise level was even with the radio receiver. It is good because there is no way to adjust. - I input my internet radio Moto droid through the AUX input. It works great! If you are a user of Pandora is the way to go! - The sound is OK, if you need powerful bass, you need an external amplifier and sub, is not it? Plug it! - My car has a separate clock, so I did not miss. CONS: - My only complaint is that the display does not diminish with the light. Someone has smoked in a piece of gray? I am a retired USN & E as a CATV engineering car stereo installer Hillbilly I started young. A good 8-track in those days put out a whopping 14 watts! My experience tells me that even a single unit, as that may sound great with good speakers. Maybe replace old, worn with high-quality speakers would be suitable for new power to those who are not impressed by the sound meet. If an audio file that are in the vehicle life, you are looking for something like this anyway? 38 of 41 customers found this review helpful. Memory loss by Mitchell Greene xr4110 This is the second I tried (after waiting for three weeks to return / supply) unit sometimes loses his memory during startup of the vehicle. I read this is a problem for this unit, and that someone had warned me. And 'obviously want something double sweep under the rug because they do not act surprised when they called with this complaint. They just said to return it, no question about wires or anything. This drive is cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for:. (See all 132 customer reviews ....
